About the Journal

Persona: Jurnal Psikologi Indonesia (Jurnal Persona) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. The journal was first established in 2012. Between 2012 and 2016, Jurnal Persona was published three times annually. In line with the journal’s commitment to enhancing publication quality, starting in 2017 the journal has been issued biannually, in June and December. Jurnal Persona provides open and free access, allowing readers to download all published articles in PDF format.

Jurnal Persona serves as a platform for the dissemination of research findings in psychology. Initially, the journal focused on manuscripts within the areas of Clinical Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and Educational Psychology. To promote greater diversity and interdisciplinary contributions, beginning with Volume 10 Number 2, the journal expanded its scope to include Social Psychology and Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Despite the broader disciplinary coverage, Jurnal Persona consistently upholds rigorous standards to ensure the quality of published manuscripts.

Jurnal Persona is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia and is recognized as a reputable academic journal. During the 2017–2018 period, the journal was accredited at the Sinta-4 level. Since 2019, Jurnal Persona has achieved Sinta-2 accreditation, which remains valid through 2027. The most recent accreditation status was formalized under the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia, Decree No. 72/E/KPT/2024, dated April 1, 2024.

Jurnal Persona is indexed in major scholarly databases, including Sinta, Dimensions, Garuda, Google Scholar, One Search Indonesia, ROAD, WorldCat, PKP Index, ResearchBib, Scilit, and others. The journal is also a member of CrossRef, ensuring that all published articles are assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
